Okay, so this is kind of out of the ordinary for me... but I had to share.

Today while musing on my daily dose of blogs, I was instantly intrigued with my friend Natalie's post about this photographer (she describes it much more eloquently than me). Still, I was so absorbed by his perspective and process of making these images that I got all excited and giddy about photography again. It made me miss the days of spending time in the dark room -- being more hands on-- and taking 19th century photo classes where we were constantly learning about these amazing artists who inspire me.

If you have time, check out this video about the process. He basically made a camera the size of a car and creates these amazing photographs. A true artist! Believe me, this 7 minutes sooo worth your while.

Truly awesome. I know what you mean about going back to being more hands on... there's just something about gettin' down and dirty with your prints. Makes me miss those long nights in the lab.
