toes. this is why I haven't been blogging much lately. well that, and the fact that I haven't really picked up my camera lately either. we are ecstatic to be having a new little one this June. will it be blue or pink? we don't know, but come June - we will find out :)

we took violet to the aquarium the other day, and she really loved it. Here are a few shots from the day...

It's always this time of year when winter sets in, the holidays are over, and everything seems to move a little slower that I feel sort of uninspired and in a rut. I hardly ever pull out my camera anymore, but today I decided to break it out and take a few of v, and these cheered me up.

The image on the top left is the face she pulled when I asked her to "show me your teeth". I don't know where she gets it :)

a beautiful classic fall wedding post is a nice way to finish up the year, right? Remember this couple's engagements? There's something vintage and classic about their style that I really love. I shot a lot of black and white film for this wedding and I am so happy that I did.

I know I have been MIA for a while, but I plan to get back on the blogging ball real soon.

After many threatening emails and making multiple reports through facebook, we finally were able to get this creepazoid's profile removed, and her flickr account is down. I have been consumed with this all week, and I hate to admit it.

I just want to thank everyone for their helpful comments and tips. Also everyone who emailed me with advise... I didn't have time to respond to them all but I thank you for taking the time to help me.

It's so good to know that I have people out there looking out for me and that people know who Violet's *real* mom is :)

I hope this kind of thing never happens again, but I am going to have to be a lot more careful about what I post (haven't decided if I'll keep posting photos of Violet after this). It's sad that it has to be that way, but this scared me more than I thought it would.

I will be out of town for the weekend and be back Monday with some more work to share.

WHAT?!

I just got informed that someone is stealing photos from my blog, and pretending to be me. Not only is this person taking my photographs, but claims to be the mother of violet and has a facebook account with over 500 contacts + a flickr account.

Not only do I feel completely violated, I'm just shaking I'm so mad. creepy.

Anyone have any suggestions of what to do from here?

HERE is the link to her facebook page. I (obviously) am not her friend, but someone *thank you someone*, got an invite from this person on facebook and sent me a screen shot of her homepage - which has all my photographs and says she's a mom to violet. I have reported her on facebook, but heard nothing back yet.

What do I do? What is wrong with people? and what's the motive? I just don't get it.

**to be clear, I do have a flickr account. It's under "allison c photography". This impostor's flickr account is under "allison carter 2009", which is linked from her facebook account.
